VIEROL fundraising campaign at the Oldenburg State Tournament
16 September 2025Joy, sport and a big heart – that sums up VIEROL AG’s special fundraising campaign at this year’s Oldenburg State Tournament in Rastede.
In 2025, the obstacle provided by VIEROL was once again a highlight of the course. Every faultless jump over it meant a donation of 10 euros to a good cause. Thanks to 963 successful jumps, an impressive total of 9,630 euros was raised.
The recipient is the Friends of the Elisabeth Children’s Hospital Association, which has been working tirelessly on behalf of young patients for many years. The donations will be used to fund projects that contribute to the recovery and well-being of the children: toys, books and hospital clowns bring smiles and light-heartedness to everyday life in the hospital – especially in difficult situations.
Following the tournament, Mirja Viertelhaus-Koschig, CEO of VIEROL AG, presented the symbolic cheque to Her Royal Highness Caroline Duchess of Oldenburg, chairwoman of the association, and to Geert Stadtlander, managing director of the support association.
‘It’s wonderful to see the many different ways in which funds are being raised for sick children,’ emphasised the Duchess at the handover.
With this campaign, VIEROL shows how sport and social commitment can go hand in hand and that a sense of community and dedication can achieve a great deal of good.
A big thank you goes to all the riders who, with every jump, not only achieved sporting success but also brought hope and joy to the children at the Elisabeth Children’s Hospital.
