Strategic partnership – VIEROL and MOTOO launch cooperation

VIEROL AG is strengthening its presence in the independent aftermarket and in workshop support by entering into a long-term partnership with Motoo eG. The independent workshop association Motoo will be relying on the expertise of the transmission specialists at VAICO and the electric mobility experts at VEMO in future.
With VIEROL at its side, Motoo not only has a new industry partner – two strong players in the market are joining forces with the aim of providing even better targeted support to the affiliated workshops of the Motoo cooperative in the future with technology, services and know-how, and benefiting from the powerful range of repair solutions offered by the quality brands VEMO, VAICO and ACKOJA.
‘We are combining two strong players in the automotive aftermarket and offering workshops in the network a high level of service and individual support in order to profitably exploit opportunities in the maintenance business. Examples include transmission service and positioning in electromobility,’ says Ulf Koschig, Deputy Chairman of the company’s Executive Board.
Motoo, a cooperative association, now has over 70 members in the DACH region and offers its member companies various workshop solutions, knowledge transfer and procurement support. Jan Knoll, managing director of Motoo eG, is delighted with the partnership and the prospects for the network: ‘VIEROL impressed us with its well-thought-out concept for supporting our workshops. With its strong product range, we can bundle as many product areas as possible at our partner companies, benefit from the technology transfer of the VIEROL ACADEMY and consolidate our position in the workshop market with the services on offer.’
The long-term cooperation is intended to strengthen the competitiveness of the affiliated companies in the aftermarket and, through close cooperation with the workshops, lead to the practical further development of VIEROL’s range of products and services. ‘Germany is a very important market for us and strengthening independent workshops is of strategic importance,’ says Ibrahim Chahrour, Head of Marketing & Innovation Management at VIEROL AG. ‘With a comprehensive all-round package, our experts support workshop partners in active market development with marketing support, training and service offerings.’
The ideal time for the official launch of the collaboration was also quickly identified – the DTM race at the Nürburgring circuit provided the perfect setting to kick off the partnership and secure pole position.
