No year like any other
We ensure mobility – even in times of crisis. The importance of VIEROL AG’s promise was particularly evident this year. The Corona pandemic did not stop at the automotive industry and posed considerable challenges to the parts trade and workshops worldwide. Despite a lockdown in many places, VIEROL AG succeeded in securing the supply of spare parts and thus worldwide mobility with its extensive range and fast delivery.

From Australia to Cyprus: vehicle parts from VIEROL are shipped daily to wholesalers and workshops in over 125 countries despite the pandemic and the challenges in global logistics. The teams at the company headquarters in Oldenburg, at the logistics centre in Rastede and at the subsidiaries in Shanghai and Singapore work every day to ensure that VIEROL AG’s customers can fully rely on a reliable supply of spare parts – even under conditions that are not quite as easy as this year. Here is a brief review:

The largest investment in the company’s history
A particular highlight in 2020 was the laying of the foundation stone for the new logistics centre Plant II in Rastede and the expansion of the company headquarters in Oldenburg. With the help of these measures, the company is not only improving the space available, but also its attractiveness as an employer and is increasing the efficiency of its entire intralogistics with Plant II – a positive effect for VIEROL customers worldwide, who can look forward to an even more reliable service and optimisation of delivery quality.

Proximity through digital formats
Since the direct exchange with customers on site had to be cancelled for the most part this year due to Covid-19, VIEROL relied instead on web meetings and online trade fairs. Here, enquiries could be answered via chat or video call, for example, offering interested parties immediate support.

Direct support from the ACADEMY
At the beginning of the year, the new microsite of the VIEROL ACADEMY was also introduced. With it, VIEROL AG offers training courses and seminars on various specialist areas. The practical training solutions and a versatile seminar programme have been developed by the VIEROL ACADEMY to support users in the workshop and employees in the parts trade to meet the increasing requirements. VIEROL AG awarded as Top Employer Medium-Sized Businesses 2021

For the fourth time, Focus Business and kununu choose the best employers in Germany. More than 900,000 companies and around four million evaluations have been independently analysed. With this award, VIEROL AG is one of the top companies in Germany. This is the third award for VIEROL in addition to the OLLY from the City of Oldenburg for family-friendly company management and the “TOP AUSBILDUNG” quality seal from the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the particularly high quality of training.
